“My Daughter Mia has always needed to work harder to focus, especially when it comes to soccer. She started playing a bit later than most of his friends – at U-9, and initially at Valley Stream and then with Elmont Soccer where we were introduced to Jigs. At the time Mia was visibly behind her teammates in both skill and intellectual aspects of the game, but I always noticed her athletic abilities and speed was above average.

Mia was never fond of skill work, but in the a couple years at Jigs Academy, she made some headway and was slowly but steadily started catching up. With Jigs Soccer philosophy and special nurturing coaches, Mia and her team mates developed a foundation of belief in themselves that made them feel that were in control of how great they can become.

Mia and her teammates moved on from Jigs Academy to very competitive Elite National Soccer Clubs. Although not at Jigs Soccer Academy, Mia continued to improve for a couple years but something was missing and we went back to Jigs for personal one-on-one and group training. Jigs’ personal training sessions continued to motivate Mia take her game to the next level. Jigs encouraged Mia to write down and analyze her training sessions and how she was achieving her personal goals to get better and helped her connect with the vision to how great she can be.

Jigs inspired Mia to continue to expect excellence during the skills training sessions to improve her footwork, touch and shootings techniques that had exponentially impacted her work rate and performance on the field. The mental tools Jigs emphasizes in his training sessions were instrumental in helping Mia get to the next level and had a greater impact than all the progress she had made previously with just training on skill work. We believe Jigs training sessions and mentor-ship had a significant influence and contribution to Mia’s Soccer achievements as a leader on her VSS NY State Championship team , NY State Player of the Year, ECNL Northeast Player of the Year and All-American selection in 2018.”
