“We cannot say enough about Jigs’ Soccer school and Jigs as a coach! Our son loved soccer but needed some guidance on taking his game to the next level. Jigs has inspired him to push himself beyond his limits on the field and off. Not only is he learning footwork to advance his play, but Jigs’ is literally transforming our son’s thoughts to empower him on the field.
When we were looking for someone to improve our son’s game, never did we think we would find someone like Jigs. He doesn’t just coach our son, he makes sure what he is teaching is really resonating with him. He gives him homework and our son actually looks forward to seeing the results of his hard work.
Jigs also makes sure to check in with us to see what our son is getting out of the work he is putting in, which we really appreciate. Working with Jigs has changed our entire family’s mindset about how children play and succeed at soccer. Our son now walks on the field feeling confident and strong and walks off feeling accomplished that he played a great game. We would recommend Jigs to anyone who is looking for their child to grow both on and off the field!”

The term “The soccer world is very small” holds a lot of truth. At the young age of 4 years old I was very fortunate to have my parents introduce me to my first love….soccer. In Suffolk County my father identified that the quality of soccer was not challenging enough for me. That being said he sot out various teams, trainers, and tournaments to place me in to improve my skill level.
In the pursuit of my father seeking ways to continuously elevate my soccer skills, he then enrolled me into a soccer tournament in England. July 2013 fate would have it that Jigs was coaching the team representing New York. It was then I was formally introduced to the coaching style of Jigs.
I am one of the few lucky ones to have been coached by jigs. He offers high quality of coaching to players. He has the knowledge to help a player develop to their full potential with a focus on technical perfection. Thank you coach.
I started training with Jigs about a year and half ago. I wanted someone to help take my game to the next level and Jigs was able to help me to do that. He was not only able to help me with my skills and overall ability but also to help improve my mental strength. He understands the importance of the mental aspect on game performance for an athlete. His training sessions always leave me feeling strong and hungry to improve. He definitely is someone I look forward to training with.

“My Daughter Mia has always needed to work harder to focus, especially when it comes to soccer. She started playing a bit later than most of his friends – at U-9, and initially at Valley Stream and then with Elmont Soccer where we were introduced to Jigs. At the time Mia was visibly behind her teammates in both skill and intellectual aspects of the game, but I always noticed her athletic abilities and speed was above average.
Mia was never fond of skill work, but in the a couple years at Jigs Academy, she made some headway and was slowly but steadily started catching up. With Jigs Soccer philosophy and special nurturing coaches, Mia and her team mates developed a foundation of belief in themselves that made them feel that were in control of how great they can become.
Mia and her teammates moved on from Jigs Academy to very competitive Elite National Soccer Clubs. Although not at Jigs Soccer Academy, Mia continued to improve for a couple years but something was missing and we went back to Jigs for personal one-on-one and group training. Jigs’ personal training sessions continued to motivate Mia take her game to the next level. Jigs encouraged Mia to write down and analyze her training sessions and how she was achieving her personal goals to get better and helped her connect with the vision to how great she can be.
Jigs inspired Mia to continue to expect excellence during the skills training sessions to improve her footwork, touch and shootings techniques that had exponentially impacted her work rate and performance on the field. The mental tools Jigs emphasizes in his training sessions were instrumental in helping Mia get to the next level and had a greater impact than all the progress she had made previously with just training on skill work. We believe Jigs training sessions and mentor-ship had a significant influence and contribution to Mia’s Soccer achievements as a leader on her VSS NY State Championship team , NY State Player of the Year, ECNL Northeast Player of the Year and All-American selection in 2018.”
